  Is there a Logical explanation for the spooky things happening at my daughter, Ali's house?!?!!!!

  ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.

  here are a few of the things that happened:.

  about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.

  Lion Cask... Why are you so hostile?

  There is no hostility in my words. The problem with text is that it is devoid of vocal intonation and facial expression. I am by no means worked up about this. If people want to believe in things they have never personally seen themselves, or believe in things they say they have seen but nobody else has seen, or believe in things for which there is no proof, then I will be skeptical and I will call them on it. If you talk to anyone who has exited the WTS you will find a common thread. At some point or another they chose not to believe what other people were telling them with great conviction was true. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. No matter how much you believe something to be true, it isn't true unless you can prove it.

  ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.

  Who knows maybe there are things that will forever be beyond science's grasp. There are things for which science is not the best tool but what caused the events that are the subject of this thread is not one of them.

  Or it's all a bunch of crap. If it exists, come forward with proof.

  What is it with the Dawkinites always have to be such sarcastic dinkers? Are y'all really arrogant enough to believe that the only reason someone could possibly disagree with you is because that person is stupid and/or nuts?

  I don't think anyone used the word "stupid". But if the shoe fits ....

  I wonder if they ask for a tax deduction for the cost to clean it up. No. Wait a minute. They don't pay any taxes. Nevermind.

  Vandalism is infantile stupidity and the morons who did that should be publicly humiliated if they're caught but probably won't because they're underage. Now the City of Los Angeles rate payers get to pay for the cost of investigating the stupidity and slapping the kids on the wrist if they catch them.

  JWs are led to believe that they married in a three corded bond with Jehovah. When one mate turns against the WTS it in essence tells the other mate that the cord has been broken.

  What are they led to believe when it was they who decided to get baptised against the wishes of the other spouse five years after they were married?

  Most JW friendships really are conditional friendships.

  I'm beginning to think from reading posts of others in here that you could substitute the word "marriages" for "friendships", undercover, and your observation would still be valid.

  In other words, most of the people who dismiss that sort of thing out of hand are working on exactly the same quality of evidence that Jehovah's Witnesses who believe that such things MUST BE TRUE are - blind faith. In this case, blind faith that anything not immediately obvious has to be false.

  Falacious statement. However, if you are really convinced that this stuff is real, you should go back to that voodoo ceremony schtick and take someone from Randi with you. You would walk away $1 million richer. Blind faith, indeed.
